Safety signals

A better piercing starts with the right questions.

Before you sit down, the studio should help you understand what to ask, what to bring, and what to avoid in the first weeks.

  • Ask what jewelry is suitable for the piercing and the healing stage.
  • Bring valid ID and ask ahead about age requirements for minors.
  • Do not change jewelry too early unless a piercer recommends it.
  • Use sterile saline wound wash and avoid rotating jewelry while healing.
  • Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid bumping the piercing.
  • Avoid pools, hot tubs, and unnecessary friction during healing.

Frequently asked

Quick answers to common piercing questions.

If a question is not here, send it on WhatsApp. The studio replies during open hours.

Can I get pierced as a walk-in?

Walk-ins may be possible, but messaging first helps confirm availability, ID requirements, and jewelry options for your specific piercing.

Can I bring my own jewelry?

The piercer should confirm whether your jewelry is suitable for an initial piercing. Some pieces are decorative but not ideal for healing — implant-grade titanium or solid gold tends to work best for fresh piercings.

How do I clean a new piercing?

Use sterile saline wound wash, dry with clean disposable material, and leave the jewelry alone except when cleaning. Avoid alcohol, peroxide, and homemade salt mixes.

When can I change the jewelry?

Wait for the piercer's go-ahead. Initial healing varies by placement — lobes are fastest, cartilage and navel take much longer. Changing too early is the most common cause of irritation.

Do you pierce minors?

Age and consent rules vary by piercing type. Bring valid ID for both the minor and the parent or legal guardian, and message ahead so the studio can confirm what is allowed.
